Privacy

CITIUS takes respect for privacy and protection of CITIUS end users personal data extremely seriously.

Document below sets out the CITIUS Privacy Policy to help you understand how CITIUS gathers, uses and protects your personal data.

The document has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.


Quality

One of CITIUS core principles is commitment to the quality of services provided to CITIUS clients. CITIUS is committed to continually improve the efficacy of the services provided. An integral part of CITIUS commitment to quality standards and environmental protection standards comprises ongoing actions to improve energy efficiency and optimise natural resources.

For that reason, the 15 CITIUS General Research Services maintain ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management System) as well as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).

Prevention

Price List

University of Seville General Research Services provide their services according to a system of tariffs approved within the framework of the University of Seville Annual Budget. Applicable tariffs depend on the user subscription level. There are three different levels: University of Seville users, users from other Public Research Bodies (OPI’s) and users from private enterprises.

Visits

Visits are offered to the University of Seville Research, Technology and Innovation Centres (CITIUS) to highlight the work carried on by the University of Seville General Research Services. Two categories of visits are available to CITIUS and to the CITIUS Celestino Mutis:

Student Visits

Student visits are aimed at anyone in education. These visits provide a general overview of CITIUS to students at two levels: secondary education and university students. Visits to CITIUS are limited to a maximum of 20 students each visits, at least one educator must accompany the students and is responsible for the group. Visits are mainly carried out on Thursdays between 09:00 and 13:30 hours. Practical workshops are also held when possible.

In order to arrange a student visit, the teacher in charge must complete a visit request and forward the request by email to the following email address: visitacitiusus.es.

Institutional Visits

Institutional visits are aimed at teachers and University of Seville researchers or researchers from other Spanish or foreign Universities wishing to see how the Centre operates. Anyone interested must complete a visit request and forward the request by email to the following email address: visitacitiusus.es including form RG EMG 003-00. Visiting groups are restricted to a maximum 15 persons and visit dates will be set in advance by agreement between the parties.

Safety instructions

Pursuant to operating instruction IO-44.2-00 issued by the University of Seville Prevention Service (SEPRUS) organised groups visiting University of Seville facilities must know the safety instructions and evacuation map for the centre they are visiting. The person in charge of the group is responsible for disseminating both safety instructions and the evacuation map to persons in the group.

Reports

CITIUS Annual Reports are documents drawn up to provide a summary of CITIUS organisation, operation, activities, internal and external relations that have taken place, as the name of the report would suggest, throughout the calendar year. The Annual Report describes services provided both to researchers and companies, as well as presenting resources in advance scientific instrumentation, together with human resources used and the Centre operation budget, including tariffs.

Complaints and suggestions

All complaints and suggestions received will be dealt with in accordance with the CITIUS Quality System and appropriate actions taken.

If you wish to make a complaint, please be kind enough to identify yourself stating your name and providing a valid email address. CIITIUS can then contact you to offer a better solution. Please bear in mind that if a complaint is made anonymously CITIUS cannot inform you of measures adopted and we may not be able to obtain information required to resolve the issue.
